Douglas Alan Davis

Newark ~ Douglas Alan Davis, 76, went to meet his Maker Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Lake Worth.

Mr Davis was born on September 18, 1939 to Bill and Lois (Thomas) Davis in Dallas County, Texas.

After serving in the Air Force, Alan was a Volunteer Fireman for the Haltom City Fire Department. He worked many years for Dr. Pepper and most recently used his carpenter skills and sales knowledge building small play houses and storage buildings.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Ann Hall and Carolyn Krebbs.

Those left behind are his four children, Michael Alan Davis, Melanie Alayne Childers, Martha Anette Cooper and wife Gina, Mark Adrian Davis all of Springfield, MO, and his step daughter, Cindy Reedy of Newark, TX; nine  grandchildren, Nathan, Jennifer, Windy, Asa, Mark Jr, Jamie, Tandi, Leo, and step grandson, Christopher; 10 great grandchildren, MacKayla, KayDee, Samuel, Kennedy, Chevelle, Arsen, Emily, Helayna, Aurin, and step grandson, Dallas; one great great grandchild, Aurora; his sister, Patricia Krebbs of Newark.  He was Uncle Butch to many nieces and other family members and a few friends and neighbors.

Services will be held graveside this summer when family and friends can gather at Dido Cemetery. Announcement will be shared with Family and
Friends on Facebook.
