Rhome ~ Douglas Allen Fish, 72, a retired salesman, went to be with our Lord Monday, June 17, 2019, in Decatur.
Celebration of Life will be scheduled in October.
Douglas was born on July 12, 1946, to Raymond Clark and Eleanor Jane (Wayman) Fish in Bell, California. He was united in marriage to Valerie Ann Denison on April 13, 1979, in Provo, Utah. Douglas proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler and a member of the Methodist Youth Fellowship. Douglas was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Valerie Fish of Rhome; his son, Scott Allen Fish and wife Megan of Prosper; his daughters, Kameron Fish of Sanford Florida, Cari Ballejos and husband Chris of Colleyville, Casey Abbott and husband Keith of Little Elm, and Kristen Trujillo of Euless; his 15 grandchildren; his 5 great-grandchildren; his sister, Karen Lee Hanson of Lonetree, Colorado; numerous nieces, and a host of friends.
