Duane Raymond Deforrest

Memorial service was held Saturday, February 13th at Crossroads Church with Reverend Ty Lovell officiating.

Duane was born September 10, 1938 in Aberdent, South Dakota to Delmar and Marion Nelson DeForrest. He retired from the Carpenter's Union in Washington and served in United States Marines.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Denise Custer and husband, Joel of Greenville, Texas; eight grandchildren, Andrea, Joshua, Karen, Chris, Justin, Leanah, Zakery and Deztnee; great grandson, Parker; two brothers, Dwight and Maynard DeForrest; two sisters, Deborah Taylor and Diane Langer; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Duane is preceded in death by his brother, David DeForrest.
