Bridgeport ~ Dwayne Paul Halter, 63, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in Bridgeport.

Graveside Service is 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at West Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport.

Scott Strothers will officiate.

Dwayne was born on June 18, 1957 to P.J. and Grace (Watson) Halter in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He married Laura Gowins in Bridgeport. Dwayne worked as a truck driver. He was a son, husband, brother, and uncle to a loving family.

He was preceded in death by his father, P.J. Halter.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Laura Halter of Bridgeport; mother, Grace Halter of Bridgeport; brothers, David Halter and wife Margie, Darrell Halter and wife Lori, and Dennis Halter, all of Bridgeport; nephews, Justin Halter and wife Shelby, and Jace Halter; niece, Manda Bilby and husband Kyle; and numerous other extended family and friends.
