Memorial Service is 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Earl was born on May 26, 1947 to Earl Roland Sr. and Mary V. (Pittman) Dietrich in Rochester, New York. He was united in marriage to Jessie Louise Jenkins on January 29, 1966 in Fairport, New York. Earl was a retired machinist. He was a member of the Non Denominational Church. Earl loved hunting, collecting coins, and very interested in history . Earl was an avid amateur meteorologist.
T hose left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Jessie Dietrich of Rhome; his sons, Earl Roland Dietrich III of Saginaw, Ian T. Dietrich of Forney, Noel C. Dietrich of Troy, Alabama, Joseph E.M. Dietrich of Saginaw, and Larry B. Dietrich of Bowie; his daughter, Michelle R. Moore of Bowie; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his brother, Ronnie Dietrich of New York; his sisters, Lori Eck of Florida, and Linda; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
