Rhome ~ Earl Stokes, 76, retired construction business owner, went to be with our Lord, Friday, September 2, 2016 in Decatur.
Memorial graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday at West Bridgeport Cemetery.
Earl was born on December 21, 1939 to Morris and Augie (Gober) Stokes in Bridgeport. He owned and operated Stokes Construction until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jr. Stokes and Mickey Stokes.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Todd Stokes of Krum; his daughter, Lori Rajala and husband Dr. Bruce Rajala of McKinney; his grandchildren, Logan Gallamore, Carter Stokes, Kennedy Stokes, Paris Rajala, John Rajala, and Christopher Rajala; his sisters, Doris Green and Judy Carlton; his brother, Mike Stokes; other family members and a host of friends.
