HURST -- Earldine Harms Moody, 78, a retired beautician slipped into eternal peace Sunday morning, December 9, 2007 at her home in Hurst.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial: Paradise Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Reverend Don Ashley will officiate.
Earldine was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister-in-law and friend. She will be greatly missed. She was born June 4, 1929 to Earl and Emma Hartsell Harms in Decatur, Texas. Earldine married Joseph Moody March 23, 1946 in Paradise, Texas. He preceded her in death along with her grandson, Christian Anthony DeMaio. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Paradise.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Merilynn Batchelder Howard of Hurst, Rhonda DeMaio Riese of Ft. Worth; granchildren, Darius DeMaio and wife Michelle, Doug DeMaio, Travis Batchelder and wife Melissa, Donavan DeMaio, Joseph Batchelder, Frank Riese IV and Garrett Riese; brother-in-law, Emmett Moody; sister-in-law, Ermal Moody; other relatives and a host of friends.
