BRIDGEPORT -- Ed W. Roberds, 70, a heavy equipment operator for Wise County Precinct 4, died Friday, March 31, 2006 in Bridgeport. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Sunday at West Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Roberds was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He married Linda Rohrer Aug. 21, 1965 in Woodward, OK. He was a Baptist. Survivors: Wife of 41 years, Linda Roberds; son, Eddy Ray Roberds; daughter, De Rai Collins; sisters, Betty Day, Patty Taylor and Kathy Evenson and numerous nieces, one nephew and a host of dear friends.
