Edna L Brumett

Chico ~ Edna L. Brumett, 95, went to be with our Lord Saturday, September 6, 2019 in Decatur.

Graveside is  10:30 a.m.  Saturday, September 14, 2019 in Chico Cemetery.

Edna was born on April 14, 1924 to James Leon and Nevie (Thornhill) Newman in Alba, Texas. She was united in marriage to Thomas W. "Bill" Brumett on December 1, 1951 in Port Arthur, Texas. Edna was a member of Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Chico.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas W. "Bill" Brumett.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Dr. Thomas O. “Tommy” Brumett and wife Eve of McKinney; her daughter, Judy Newman and husband John of Mesquite; her grandchildren, Caitlin Brumett, Josh Brumett, Heather Hopper, and John-Thomas Newman; other relatives and a host of friends.
