Chico ~ Edna South, 73, of Chico went to be with her Lord Saturday, March 1, 2014 in Decatur, Texas.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at Elizabeth Cemetery with Reverend Bill Cleveland officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Edna was born October 13, 1940 to Willis and Lillian (Taylor) Stewart in Bowie, Texas. She married Roy Ray Anderson on April 13, 1956 and we married 38 years until his death in 1994. She married Butch South in 1998 and were married for 15 years till his death in May of 2013.
Left behind to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Frank Anderson and wife Stacy of Alvord, and Willie Anderson and wife Diana of Gainesville; 3 daughters, Teresa Anderson Gaut of Bridgeport, Melinda Rosson and husband Chris of Crafton, and Lavina Anderson Kent and husband Terry of Saint Jo; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 6 sisters, a brother; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Ray Anderson; and husband Butch South.
