Haslet ~ Edward Wayne Godfrey, Jr., 52, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in Alliance.

Memorial Service is 2 PM Friday, June 25, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Rev. Doug Acklie will officiate.

Edward was born on July 24, 1968 to Edward Wayne, Sr. and Della Elizabeth (Robinson) Godfrey in Fort Worth. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Godfrey, Sr.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Della Godfrey of Haslet; 2 sons, Johnathon and Christopher of Fort Worth; 2 daughters, Elizabeth and Sara of Abilene; 2 grandchildren, Logan and Emily; 3 sisters, Ivy of Burleson, Sarah of Azle, and Tamara of Burleson; other relatives and a host of friends.
