Boyd - Elaine Slimp Andress, 68, went to be with our Lord on Friday, January 18, 2013 in Boyd.

Funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, January 21st at Aurora Baptist Church with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Withers will officiate. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Bud Smith, Derek Brown, Sean Andress, Bobby Davis, Matt Naugle and Jesse Bulpitt. Honorary pallbearer is Brian Hunt.

Elaine was born September 21, 1944 in Rhome, Texas to Shade and Dovie (Lambert) Slimp. She married Milton Andress on February 25, 1965 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Milton Andress; 2 daughters, Cindy Smith and husband Bud of Boyd and Angie Brown and husband Derek of Saginaw; 12 grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer, Sherri, Brittany, Rene, Sean, Juston, Jessica, Brenden, Joshua, Courtney and Brooklyn; 8 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; 2 brothers, Clyde and Doyle Slimp; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; son, Eugene Andress; daughter, Kimberly Andress; and 2 brothers, Jim and Wayne Slimp.
