Elise was born on June 3, 1953 to Clarence Lacy and Millicent Bush in Phoenix, Arizona. She was united in marriage to Allen Funkhouser on April 1, 1975 in Mesa, Arizona. Elise was a Baptist.
Elise was preceded in death by her father; her husband; one sister; and two brothers.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Millicent Lacy of Phoenix, Arizona; her daughter, Amy McHood and husband Scott of Decatur; her son, Mike Funkhouser of Vernal, Utah; her son, Chris Funkhouser and wife Tammy of Mesa, Arizona; her grandchildren, Kattie, Peyton, and Eli McHood, Conner, Cameron, and Mazzie Funkhouser; her brother, Ron Lacy and wife Debbie of Phoenix, Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
