Elisia Gonzales Juarez

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Rosary is 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Elisia was born May 14, 1931 to Fileberto and Carmen (Castaneda) Gonzales in Sonora, Texas. She married Wesley Juarez on October 7, 1954 in Plainview, Texas. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Wesley; her brother, Ruben Gonzales, her sister, Minnie Gamboa and her nephew, Gustavo Hernandez.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, John Juarez and wife Sandra of Krum; grandchildren, Aubrey Petty and husband Justin of Ft. Worth; J.J. Juarez and wife Mishi of Denton, Phillip Juarez and fiancee Heather of Denton; sisters, Lala Hernandez of Sonora, Rebeka Rangel of Cameron; brothers, Oscar Galindo of Sonora, Chito Gonzales of Bridgeport, Emilio Gonzales of Plainview, Eddie Gonzales of Bridgeport, Manuel Gonzales of Plainview; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
