Elizabeth "Liz" Dudley

Decatur ~ Elizabeth Ann Dudley, "Liz",79, went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 21, 2022.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Donny Haywood will officiate. Pallbearers include Bryce Dudley, Blake Dudley, Scott Schrag, Craig Webb, Joe Coker, and Brian Morgan.

Liz was born July 4, 1943 to Lindy Lane and Jean Liz Davis in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage November 19, 1966 to Clifford Dudley in Tulsa, Oklahoma, married for over 50 years before his passing in 2017. Liz graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Tulsa University, she was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority and was a retired administrator for Polk Publishing. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will dearly miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 50 years, Clifford Dudley.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Warren Dudley and wife Vicki of Decatur; her grandsons, Bryce Dudley and wife Ashton of Corpus Christi, and Blake Dudley of Decatur; 2 great-grandchildren, Cooper and Kinsley Dudley; her brother Tom Davis and wife Carolyn of Las Vegas; numerous nieces and a host of friends.
