DECATUR -- Ella Mae Cagle, 82, a retired chemical dependency counselor in Wise County, died Sunday, April 1, 2007 in Decatur. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Central Fellowship Church, Decatur with Bro. Monty Tuttle officiating. Burial: Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Ella was born Oct, 31, 1924 in Decatur to Burtrand D. and Ella Ford Smith. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Douglas C. Jordan and Carden C. Cagle, sons, Carden Robert "Bob", James Columbus and Burtrand Joseph Cagle, brother, B.D. Smith and her parents. Mrs. Cagle was a member of Central Fellowship Church. Pallbearers: Matt Jordan, Mike Jordan, Richard Foster, Mikel Grant, Nathan Ligon, George Smith, Bryan Smith, Raymond Foster III, Norvelle Kennedy, Jim Moody and Jason Emery. Memorials: Wise County Historical Museum. Survivors: Children; Douglas Carl Jordan, Jr.and wife Judy of Mansfield and Mark Alan Jordan and wife Susan of Decatur, Susan Ruth Ligon and husband John of Mesquite, Bobbi Lee Foster of Decatur and Juanita Ann Farr of Stephenville; 13 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren; and sister, Wilma LaVerne Kennedy of Rotan.
