Boyd ~ Ella “Mamma” Jean Warren, 83, passed away August 4, 2022, with her family by her side at her home in Boyd, Texas.

Funeral is 10:30 AM Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ella was born August 23, 1938 to William Samuel and Fredia Faye (Bolin) Pitts in Decatur, Texas. Ella “Mamma” Jean Warren was a loving wife and mother

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Warren, parents, William and Freida Pitts, and sister Margie Methvin.

She is survived by her daughter Carla Hataway and husband Troy Burch of Newark, daughter Rhonda Bletsch and husband Henry of Boyd, son Brad Warren and wife Lisa of Paradise, grandson Jeremy Hataway and wife Melissa, grandson Justin Hataway and wife Kristi, and granddaughter Allyson Felps, great-grandchildren Jillian, Jack, Brailey, Braiden, and Jaycee, great-great granddaughter Laken, sisters Ilo Faye Reed, Billie Ruth Oldham, Carolyn Karr, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
