Bridgeport ~ Elmer Ray White, 85, a retired electrician, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Marc Moore will officiate.
Elmer was born on November 25, 1931 to Marvin and Minnie (Simpson) White in Bridgeport. Elmer proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was an electrician for the city of Bridgeport and TXI.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Inez King White; his grandson, Brandon Cox; his brother, Don White; his sisters, Neva Nell Lawrence, Laura Lee Thetford, and Fay Shannon.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Buddy White of Bridgeport; his daughters, Donna Pochyla of Runaway Bay, Brenda Wilkinson and husband Doug of Boyd; his grandchildren, Dusty McClung and wife Shanna, Koby McClung and wife Christel, Erica Graeter and husband Ian, Kevin King, Casey King, and Klint King; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Kole, Kaden, Avery, Caleb, Sydney, and Tanner; his brother, John White of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Carl White and wife Maxine of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Delynn King; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
