Chico: Elois Hardin Carter, 76, a housewife went to be with our Lord Monday, May 10, 2010 in Chico.
Memorial Services will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Alvord with the Reverend Glenn Waldon officiating.
Elois was born July 31, 1933 to Ozie A. and Wynonna (Silk) Hardin in Buckeye, Arizona. She married Robert Lee Carter February 2, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. They were married for 58 years before his passing in 2009. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Alvord.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Carter and her parents.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Randy L. Carter of Ft. Worth, and Ozie N. Carter and wife Cindy of Chico; granddaughter, Connie L. Davidson and fiancee David Garcia of Bridgeport; great grandson, Cooper L. Davidson; sisters, Delfina Whitten of Oklahoma City, and Ethel Chambers of Plainview.
