Elsie Murl Cheek

Rhome ~ Elsie Murl Cheek, 74, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Decatur.

A Private Family Service will be held to honor Elsie.

Elsie was born on September 19, 1945 to James and Murl (Sinclair) Porter in Cleburne, Texas. She was united in marriage to Troy Cheek on September 14, 1981 in Tarrant County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy Cheek; and daughter, Julie Faglie.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Janice Lutz, Joy Cheek, John Cheek, and Jessy Wilkerson; her grandchildren, Johnny, Tara, Kairi, Jack, Hadley, and Sparrow; her sister, Gladys Beam; her brother, Terry Canada; other relatives and a host of friends.
