Emma Ree Mosier, 97, formerly of Alvord, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, October 20, 2013 in Bedford, Texas.
Graveside service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 23rd at Alvord Cemetery with Gerald Ball officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Emma Ree was born March 20, 1916 to Allen and Allice (Billington) Pinkerton. She was united in marriage to Elbert Mosier on March 1, 1931 in Decatur, Texas and was married 50 years at his death in 1981. Emma Ree and Elbert were owners of Mosier's Grocery in Alvord from 1938 to 1958.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Weldon Mosier and wife Evelyn of Euless; daughter, Erma Faye Holmes and husband Billy of Garland; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, siblings and many other family members.
