Ermal Mae Moody

Fort Worth ~ Ermal Mae Moody, 82, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Fort Worth.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Rev. Tom Howe will officiate. Pallbearers include Trenton Moody, Tim Moody, Shae Moody, Josh Moody, and Chris Moody.

Ermal was born on August 31, 1934 to Thomas and Nellie Mae (Hall) Barrett in Chico. She was united in marriage to William Emmett Moody on April 18, 1953 in Denton. Ermal was a member of the Birdville Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Emmett Moody; her brothers, Harold, Weldon, and T.C. Barrett.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary Moody and wife Diane of Fort Worth, Kenneth Moody and wife Tyree of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Trenton Moody and wife Rebekah, Josh Moody, Tim Moody and wife Lindsey, Chris Moody and wife Janice, and Shae Moody; 13 great grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.
