Ernest Lee Brumbalow

Last rites will be performed by the Southside Masonic Lodge No. 4111 of Fort Worth at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11th at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Friday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Ernest was born on February 2, 1931 in Fort Worth to Harvey Grover and Alma Josephine (Evans) Brumbalow. He was united in marriage to Frieda Joy Casey and was married 53 years at her death on April 29, 2003.

Ernest retired as a fire fighter from General Dynamics with over 30 years of service. Ernest was a longtime member of the Southside Masonic Lodge No. 4111 and of the Baptist Church.

Left behind to cherish his memory are 2 daughters, Deborah L. Fry and husband Paul P. and Dorcas L. Thornton and husband William all of Fort Worth; 4 grandchildren, Deborah Ann Thornton, Christine Lee Thornton, Paul P. Fry, Jr. and Adam A. Fry; 2 great grandchildren, Adam Harvey and Paisley Jane Fry; 3 sisters, Winona Batten of Valley View, Marion Burch of Arlington and DeeAnna Smith of Granbury.
