Ernest Edward Partin

Boyd ~ Ernest Edward Partin, 47, owner of Partin Drywall, went to be with our Lord Monday, September 10, 2018 in Decatur.

Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Boyd with interment at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers are Tommy Wallace, Fino Cardona, Junior Cardona, Seth Wallace, Brady Davis, Bobby Mitchell, Jeremy Lambert and Randy Farmer. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Lambert, Robert Lambert, Danny Lambert, Scotty Moran and James Partin.

Ernest was born on October 13, 1970 in Oberlin, Ohio. He was united in marriage to Tracey Wreay on June 17, 1989 in North Richland Hills. Ernest was a member of First Baptist Church in Boyd and proudly served as a Deacon since October of 2008. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren as often as he could.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Angela Peters; and his brother, Freddie Lee Partin.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Tracey Partin of Boyd; his daughter, Britney Jean Brown and husband Brody of Boyd; his son, Gunner James Partin and wife Kaitlyn of Boyd; his daughter, Taylor Jo Partin of Boyd; his grandchildren, Harper, Zane, Jaret, Legend, and Emma Jean; his father, Fred Partin and wife Nesta of Rhome; his mother in law and father in law, Danny and Sherry Wreay of Rhome; his brother, James Partin and wife Angie of Haltom City; his sister, Diane Harrell and husband T.J. of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Donations may be made to the Ernest Partin Memorial Scholarship Fund. Donations are payable to First Baptist Church Boyd.
