Ethel Allene (Fant) Robinson

Bridgeport ~ Ethel Allene (Fant) Robinson, 77, went to be with our Lord Thursday, March 28th, 2024 in Denton, Texas.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bridgeport with burial at Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Officiating is Pastor Gary Demmitt.

Allene was born April 9th, 1946 to Creed Fulton and Annie Lou (Hammer) Fant in San Angelo, Texas.  She was united in Marriage May 25th, 1962 to Tom Robinson in Miles, Texas. Allene was a retired Rural Mail Carrier after many years with the United States Postal Service. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will dearly miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Creed & Annie Lou Fant; a son, Thomas M. Robinson; 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of over 61 years, Tom Robinson of Bridgeport; 3 daughters, Denda Caldwell & husband Doug of Chico, Brenda Robinson of Decatur, and Dena Harvick & husband Jason of Bridgeport, 1 Daughter-in-law, Michelle Robinson; 6 grandchildren, Amanda Caldwell, Britney Caldwell, Tiffany Pollard, James Pollard, Heather Linares, and Justin Robinson; 7 great-grandchildren; her brother, Creed Fant; numerous extended Family and a host of friends.
