Decatur ~ Eva Lois North, 65, went to be with our Lord Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Decatur.
Graveside is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery. Family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Cotton Roberts will officiate. Pallbearers include Donald Wilson, Curtis Creswell, and Rob Applewhite.
Eva was born on November 8, 1951 and her parents are Joseph and Anna (Reeves) Spann in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage to John Russell North on April 20, 1979 in Decatur. Eva worked at Walmart for 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. Eva loved the farm life.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Joe Spann; her brother, Murry Spann.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 38 years, Russell North of Decatur; her mother, Anna Spann of Decatur; her sons, Shawn Grundy and wife Brenda of Decatur, Rusty North of Decatur; 2 step daughters; her sister, Diana Spann of Dallas; her brother, Leland Spann of Decatur; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
