Bridgeport~ Eva Berniece Watkins, 82, went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 21, 2022 in Sherman.
Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022 in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12:30-1:30 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Eva was born on December 23, 1939 to Thomas and Elva (Crouch) Bogart in Glenrock, Wyoming. She was a retired daycare worker for Little Angels where she worked for many years. Eva was united in marriage to Billy G. Watkins on October 13, 1961 in Gainesville, Texas and together many wonderful years until his passing in 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport. Eva was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Watkins; her grandson, Adam Watkins, and her 3 brothers, Walter, Dusty, and Johnnie Bogart.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Billy Watkins of Paradise, Rocky Watkins and wife Karin of Sherman, Tonie Watkins of Irving, and Josh Watkins of Denton; her grandchildren, Amanda Madera, Matthew Watkins and wife Megan, Ashley Netherton and husband Sam, and Kari Kate Watkins; her great-grandchildren, Liam Netherton, Ryan Watkins, Xander and Dorian Madera; her brother, Danny Bogart and wife Pat of Burleson; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
