DALLAS -- Evelyn "Sweet" Hopkins, 93, a long time Pecos resident and retired seamstress, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 in Dallas. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, TX. Memorials: May be made to Holden Hands Home, 7412 Gracefield, Dallas, TX 75231. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, W.A. and Lily Allen; sister, Judy Bloss; and brothers, Lloyd and Floyd Allen. Survivors: Daughter, Jo Ann Bryan and husband, Jerry of Odessa; granddaughters, Debbie Cummings and husband Walter of Dallas and Josie Brownlee of Midland; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Carly Cummings and Bryan and Jeffrey Brownlee; sister, Gladys Franzen of Culver City, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
