Everardo Ruiz

Decatur ~ Everardo Ruiz, 67 went to be with our Lord April 9, 2021 in Fort Worth.

Funeral is 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Everardo was born May 11, 1953 to Jesus and Irene (Rubio) Ruiz in Sonora, Mexico. He was united in marriage to Transito Ruiz-Bustillos on December 12, 1975 in Sonora, Mexico. Everardo was a member of Templo de Celbracion and he worked on the assembly line at General Motors as a general manager in Mexico.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Transito Ruiz-Bustillos of Decatur; his daughters, Maria Elena Ruiz and Alba Ruiz; his sons, Everardo Ruiz, Abel Ruiz and Moses Ruiz; 11 grandchildren, Enahun Gomez, Josabet Gomez, Andrea Hernandez, Camila Hernandez, Eunice Ruiz, Priscila Ruiz, Caleb Ruiz, Neveah Ruiz, Isiah Ruiz, and Dylan Ruiz; and 1 great-grandchild, Liam Gomez.
