Evette (Carter) Sampson

Nocona ~ Evette Carter Sampson, 50, formerly of Chico, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Nocona.
Funeral is 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. James Messer will officiate. Pallbearers include Travis Croxton, Calvin Morales, Glen Christopher, Walter Collins, Kelsey Berg, and Clay Martin.
Evette was born on September 9, 1965 to Bob and Linda (Parker) Carter in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was raised and attended school in Chico. Evette was a member of Abundant Life Church in Nocona.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Blake Sampson and wife Cynthia of Nocona; her grandchildren, Aidan and Addison; her brother, Allen Carter of Bridgeport; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
