Bridgeport ~ Faith Yvonne Pewitt, 72, went to be with our Lord Monday, August 1, 2016 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Garvin Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Veronica Greanead will officiate. Pallbearers include Larry Forman, Charlie French, Doug Munson, Jerry Pewitt, Matthew Webster, and Nick Pewitt. Honorary Pallbearers include Ryan Webster and Kyle Pewitt.
Faith was born on August 5, 1943 to Grady and Florence (Kinsey) Drennan in Fort Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage to James Pewitt on February 19, 1966 at Garvin United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Varnell Drennan and Bill Drennan; and her sister, Flodeen Mullins.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, James Pewitt; her son, Mike Pewitt and wife Julie; her daughter, Kim Webster and husband Leonard; her grandchildren, Emily, Nick, Matthew, Kyle, and Ryan; her sister, Darlene Morgan; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of friends.
