Decatur: Faye Graham, 84, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Monday, February 16, 2009 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Victory Family Church in Decatur with Reverend Alan Bates officiating. Interment will be in Salona Cemetery near Bowie, Texas following the service. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Stephen Miller, Rodney Davis, Scott Wells, John Wells, Jordan Davis, and Kellen Miller.
Faye was born on April 2, 1924 in Paducah, Texas to Herman Porter "H.P." and Jewell (Thompson) Shaw. She is preceded in death by husbands, Grady Wells and Elbert Graham, sister, Earlene Bennett, brother, Clyde Shaw and her parents.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Maxine Loafman and husband, Bill of Decatur, Joan Davis and husband, Donny of Decatur; son, Gerald Wells and wife, JoAnn of Bakersfield, California; 10 grandchildren, Stephen Miller, Stephanie Lowry, Terri Golwas, Scott Wells, John Wells, Rebekah Reyes, Rachel Wells, Rodney Davis, Lisa Rottner, Julie Perkins; 16 great grandchildren, soon to be 17; 1 brother, Vernon Shaw of Bowie; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
