Decatur: Faye Reeder, 81, a retired real estate agent, went to be with our Lord, Monday, June 18, 2012 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21st at Bomar Point Cemetery, Wilson, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends 11-1 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home prior to the service.
Pallbearers include Kenneth Reeder, Dwane Stevens, Dennis Vernon, Dustin Weatherly, Mike Weatherly and Matt Weatherly.
Faye was born on April 21, 1931 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Joseph and Frances (Campbell) Stevens. She was united in marriage to Alvin William Reeder on June 4, 1949 and was married 49 years at his death in January, 1999. Faye was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Artie Pulis and Frankie Montgomery; brother, Carl Stevens; and great granddaughters, Hannah and Bailey Weatherly.
Faye attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Decatur.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Billie Weatherly and husband Les of Decatur; sons, Jimmy Don Reeder and wife Peggy of Krum and Randy Reeder and wife Ellie of Wichita Falls; 7 grandchildren, Dusty Weatherly and wife Stacey of Bixby, Oklahoma, Matt Weatherly and wife Stephanie of Midland, Mike Weatherly and wife Michelle of Pampa, Misty Crow of Denton, Tiffany Kurtz and husband EJ of Midland, Vanessa Young and husband J.D. of Weatherford, Julie Reeder of Wichita Falls; great grandchildren, Catilynne, Mason, Braydon, Addison, Ryleigh, Vivian, Ilene, "D" and Elijah; sisters, Bessie Carroll of Califonia, Edna Thompson of Ruidoso, New Mexico; and brother, Pierce Stevens of Duncan, Oklahoma.
