Faye Dean Singleton, 86, of Decatur went to be with our Lord on Monday, June 29, 2009.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ty Lovell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jack Leake, James Woods, W.B. Woodruff, Gary Washburn, Bobby Wilson, and Frank Perrin. Honorary Pallbearers are Jack Leake, James Woods, W.B. woodruff, Gary Washburn, Bobby Wilson, and Frank Perrin.
Faye was born September 5, 1922 in Decatur, Texas to John and Louise (Tackel) Bramlett. She married Paul C. Singleton on April 11, 1941 in Decatur, Texas and was married 38 years at his death in 1979.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her two sons, Dean Singleton and wife, Janie of Duncanville, Texas; Don R. Singleton and wife Jerilyn of Decatur; five grandsons, Russell Singleton and wife, Annette of Arlington; Paul Singleton and wife, Laura of Cedar Park; Trent Sherman, Tracy Sherman and wife, Belinda, and Tim Sherman and wife, Melissa all of Decatur; 1 granddaughter, Robin Stout and husband, Billy of Decatur; and numerous cousins and host of friends.
