Feliciana Sosa Leija

Boyd ~ Feliciana Sosa Leija, 79, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Decatur.

Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Boyd Cemetery in Boyd.  Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Feliciana was born June 9, 1939 to Martin and Maria (Linares) Sosa in Throckmorton, Texas.  She was united in marriage to Abel Leija.  Feliciana was a member of the Catholic Church in Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Abel Leija; her son, Michael Leija; and her granddaughter, Loriann Leija.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Jesse Leija, Raymond Leija and wife Carlotta, David Leija, Paul Leija, and Robert Leija all of Boyd, George Leija and wife Pam of Decatur; her daughters, Monica Simmons and husband James, and Norma Leija both of Decatur; her grandchildren, Jessica Leija, Laura Antonio, Cassandra and husband Audie, Amanda Foreman and husband Jason, Ashley Church and husband Skipper, Justin Leija, Tyler Hunter, Dylan Leija, Nick Leija, Emily Leija, Kirstyn Leija, Jamie Leija, Michael James Simmons and wife Jessica, Kevin Simmons, Alexis Simmons, and Cordelia Leija; her great-grandchildren, Demarcus, Jacob, SteveyRay, Maria, Cierra, TJ, Damien, Yesset, Anthony, Set, Devon, Lexi, Reese and Rylee Foreman, Channing, Camden, Mischea, Mason, Teagan, Michael, Lorenzo, and Addi, and Cohen Simmons; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
