Flasher Dan Chrisawn

Rhome ~ Flasher Dan Chrisawn, 85, a minister, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Fort Worth.

Funeral is 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Aurora Baptist Church with burial at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery 11 AM on Monday, August 2nd, 2021. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Rev. Jimmy Withers will officiate.

Flasher was born on August 13, 1935 to Arnold and Dorothy (Hollifield) Chrisawn in North Carolina. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Jean Borden on January 3, 1958 in Cleburne, Texas. He proudly served our country the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marie Honeycutt; 4 brothers, Bobby, Donnie, Doug, and Parkus Chrisawn.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Jean Chrisawn of Rhome; his daughter, Dianne Free and husband Ray of Mansfield; his son, Jonathan Chrisawn and wife Sabra of Rhome; 5 grandchildren, Rebecca Goodwin and husband Dan, Nathan Free and wife Molly, Dillon Lewis, Careb Simmons, and Asher Chrisawn; extended family and a host of friends.
