Runaway Bay~ Fletcher “Gene” Larrow, 84, MSgt, U.S. Army, retired, went to be with our Lord Friday, May 12, 2017 in Grapevine.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pastor Sam Caldwell of First United Methodist Church Bridgeport will officiate.
Gene was born on July 18, 1932 to Otto and Winifred (Eubar) Larrow in Middlebury, Vermont. Gene was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. He was very proud of his time in the United States Army which he retired from and started work with the U.S. Postal Service from which he also retired. He also served on the City Council of Runaway Bay, Texas.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons Stephen Larrow of Valley Mills, Michael Larrow and wife Sandra of Waco, John Larrow and wife Kristy of Azle, Michael O'Brian and wife Vicky of Corpus Christi, and daughter Tracy Brister of Americus, Georgia; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
