Floradine was born September 30, 1944 to Louis Lee and Mamie Lou (House) Bishop in Ashdown, Arkansas. Floradine and Henry Kratz married after he fell in love with her at a Kip’s Big Boy Restaurant where she was a waitress. She was the only waitress that he could not talk into giving him a free meal. Their marriage was a model of love. Floradine won many attendance awards at the United States Postal Service where she dutifully worked for 26 years. She graduated from North Dallas High School and was a faithful member of the Decatur church of Christ. Floradine will always be a deeply loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, and we will miss her kind, compassionate, and calm presence profoundly. She had the heart of a lioness when it came to family. Her quiet demeanor was a paradox as she loved us fiercely.

Husband, Henry Leroy Kratz, preceded her in death as well as brothers Oscar, Roy, and Troy.

She loved so well her sons, Jimmy Darrell Kratz and wife Susan, and Barry Lee Kratz; her daughters, Diana Kratz Mosley and husband Ron, and Jacquelyn Leigh (Kratz) Montgomery and husband Chad; her grandchildren, Melanie, Travis, Taylor, Tabitha, Cheyenne, Luke, Caroline, Morgan, Cade, Henry and Daniel; 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Claudine Wyatt, and brother, Shelby Bishop; brother-in-law, James Michael Kratz; extended family members and friends.
