Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial in Krum Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Kevin Moore will officiate.
Pallbearers: Curtis Morrow, Jeff Morrow, James Teel, Dean Bowen, Gary Bowen, Alan Kelley, Ricky Kelley, and Larry Kelley. Honorary: Amanda Harper and April Bowen
Mr. Kelley was born October 25, 1921 to Walter Curtis and Estel Spurlock Kelley in Greenville, Texas. He married Joe Lee Moore on March 8, 1947 in Grayford, Texas. Floyd joined the Army Infantry in August of 1944 to serve in World War II. He was member of the Decatur Masonic Lodge and an officer of the Eastern Star. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Baptist Church where he previously served as a director, deacon, and taught Sunday School.
Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Joe Lee Kelley of Decatur; 2 daughters, Karen Clark and husband Robert of Lewisville, and Brenda Morrow and husband Mike of Krum; 1 son, Ronald Kelley and wife Barbara of Clyde, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Rita Wiley; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Jo Ann Teel, and 1 brother, Alton Kelley.
