Flugencio Hernandez Canales

Boyd – Flugencio Hernandez Canales, 40, went to be with our Lord Tuesday August 6, 2024 in Decatur, Texas.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday August 11, 2024 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Michael Gerald will officiate.

Flugencio was born April 28, 1984 in Bridgeport, Texas to Joe Leija and Dalia (Hernandez) Canales. He graduated from St. Augustine in Florida.  Spending time with his family was very important and he loved making people laugh, and making jokes. The kids liked being around him, he would color and watch kids movies with them. He enjoyed fishing when he could, old cars and cooking on the grill. Flugencio was a very loving husband, son, father, brother, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sunshine; mother, Dalia Hernandez of Boyd; brothers, Alfred Martinez, Jr. of Boyd, and Joe Canales IV of Boyd; sisters, Michelle Ann Martinez of Boyd and Dalia Guadalupe Canales of Boyd; his children, Shay Dalia Canales, Flugencio Canales, Jr., Alyssa Canales, Emilio Canales, Issac Martinez, Angel Martinez, Neveieh Canales, Angel Canales, several nieces and nephews and extended family members and a host of friends
