Sunset ~ Frances Ellowayne Folger, 79, went to be with our Lord Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Sunset.
Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio. Family will receive friends 5 - 9 p.m. Monday at Trevino Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas.
Frances was born on September 17, 1934 to William and Nancy (Hobbs) Whitehead in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was united in marriage to Arvid Hartford Folger on May 3, 1952 in Killeen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and 5 brothers and sisters.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Judy Kay Rodriguez and husband Raymond of Laredo, Carol Urbano and husband Raul of Ponder, Nancy Edwards and husband Buddy of Sunset; her sons, Butch Folger and wife Erica of San Antonio, Steven Folger of New Braunsfels; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; her brother, Glen Whitehead and wife Mary of Sherman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
