HASLET -- Frances Wyvonne Hollingsworth, 75, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at her home.
Funeral; 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Boyd, Rev. Bob Turk and Dr. James Bowden to officiate, with burial in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Veteran Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Wyvonne was born on July 22, 1933, in Moody, Texas to John L. and Altha Lou (Rhoads) Stephens. She married Edward Earl Hollingsworth on May 3, 1952 in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Left behind to cherish her memory is: her husband of 56 years, Edward Earl Hollingsworth of Haslet; daughter, Cathy Ann Cartmill and husband Gerald Wayne of Fort Worth; 4 sons, Kenneth Stephen Hollingsworth and wife YunCha of McKinney, Timothy Earl Hollingsworth and wife LouElla Ann of Haslet, Kelly Dean Hollingsworth and wife Sheri Suzanne of Duncanville, and Jerry Don Hollingsworth and wife Ginger Dawn of Hurst; 13 Grandchildren; sister, Anita Joy Hightower; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
