Decatur ~ Francis A. Mayfield, 72, a retired nurse and dog groomer, went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 8, 2016 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial in Sand Hill Cemetery. There is no set visitation.
Bro. Sam Starr will officiate. Pallbearers include Nick Verner, Neil Sears, Tommy Thompson, Bill Hamilton, Michael Redding and Cory Schwinn.
Francis was born on July 13, 1943 to Clarence and Hettie (Kinsey) Sullivan in Pocasset, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Glenn Mayfield on June 6, 1964 Chickasha, Oklahoma. Francis worked as a registered nurse and a dog groomer. She was a member of the Boyd Church of Christ.
Francis was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Glenn Mayfield; her parents; her brothers, Levi Sullivan, and LeRoy Sullivan; her sisters, Louise Sullivan, Norma Todd, Marcelete Giles and Margaret Cocheran.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Mike Mayfield and wife Kristin of Tulsa Oklahoma; her daughter, Mary Mayfield of Decatur; her grandchildren, Mandy, Nick, Kinzi, Kassidy and Jozi Rose; her great grandchildren, Ainsley and Kennedy Rae; her brother, Harold Sullivan and wife Janice of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and a host of friends.
