Frankie Laura (Crista) Tolbert

Decatur ~ Frankie Laura Tolbert, 82, went to be with our Lord Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hawkins Funeral Home Decatur.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate. Pallbearers include Phillip Askey, Stephen Wren, Ryan Cunnius, Frank Maxwell, Robert Roose and Alan Session. Honorary pallbearers are Rusty Tolbert, Tyler Tolbert, and Marshall Fox.
Frankie was born on January 25, 1934 to Frank and Viola (Milligan) Crista in Alvord, Texas. She retired from Poco Graphite where she was a secretary for 20 plus years. Frankie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Dottie Boring.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, James Tolbert and wife Tammy of Decatur, Frank Tolbert and wife Patty of Decatur; her grandchildren, Jamie Silver and husband Brien Silver, Tyler Tolbert, Trisha Ratliff and husband Derrick, Rusty Tolbert and wife Kathy; her greatgrandchildren, Kallie, Xander, Aurora, Raelinn and Brody; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
