Franklin Dale Arn

Boyd ~ Franklin Dale Arn, 86, went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 7, 2020 in Fort Worth.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Church of God in Boyd with burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. in DFW National Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Boyd.

Franklin was born on January 13, 1934 to Ralph and Edith Arn in Springfield, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Ella Mae Johnson on November 4, 1956 in Long Beach, California. Franklin proudly served our country in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Lawrence Arn, and Ralph Arn.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Ella Mae “Penny” Arn of Boyd; daughters, Belinda Rose and husband Bryan of New Mexico, and Kimberly Wilhelm and husband Steve of Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Kammie Arn of Azle; 7 grandchildren, Kristena and husband Armondo, Joie, Lauren, Jessica, Bryan D., Steven, and Brandon; 1 great-grandchild, Cameron; other relatives and a host of friends.
