Sunset ~ Fred Moose I, 75, a truck driver, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Sunset.

Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers include his grandsons.

Fred was born on March 3, 1940 to Benjamin and Bertha (Hart) Moose in Houston. He was united in marriage to Frances Willett on March 5, 1975 in Decatur.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Karen Lynette Gillespie; his great grandson, Cashton Cade Munn; his sister, Barbara Strine; his brothers, Rick O’Bryant, and Alfred Halthill; and his father-in-law, Buford Willett.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Frances Willett Moose of Sunset; his sons, Donald Ray Moose and wife Sally of Paradise, Patrick Wayne Moose and wife Tina of Springtown, Michael Earl Moose of Fort Worth, Fred Moose II and wife Robin of Fort Worth; his daughters, Kimberly Kay Willett and Jeff Love of Sunset, Kathy Gail Dominguez and James White of Sunset; Karen Dian Houston and husband Danny of Sunset; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; his sister, Joyce Sosa of Bridgeport; his mother-in-law, Juanita Willett of Venus, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
