PARADISE -- Fred Wayne Strine, 60, a machinist and roofing contractor, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, in Paradise. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial: West Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. He is preceded in death by his son, Gerald Strine, two brothers and three sisters. Survivors: His wife of 22 years, Barbara Strine of Paradise; daughters, Melissa Bitner and husband, Zack of Dewitt, Arkansas, Sherri Ramsey and husband, Gary of Bridgeport; six grandchildren, Amanda and Chris Ramsey, DeeDee and Daniel Carder, Maddison Strine, and Tanner Armstrong; sisters, Georgia Gross of Overton, Texas and Barbara Stuard and husband John of Granbury; lifelong friends, Melvin Seay and J.D. Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Pallbearers: Billy Gardner, Donnie Wilkerson, Don Moose, Billy Earl Strine, Fred Moose II, Danny Fleetwood, Corky Wilkerson, and Gary Bell. Honorary Pallbearers: Melvin Seay, Jake Taylor, Jimmy Saey, Darrell Owens, and Lonnie Wilkerson.
