Boyd ~ Freda Mae Bennett, 86, beauty salon and health store owner, went to be with our Lord Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Willow Park.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Boyd, with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church .
Rev. Mark Autry and Jesse Wilson will officiate.
Freda was born on January 12, 1930 to Dewey Aron and Lena Margaret (Wallace) Wilson in Boyd. She was united in marriage to Jewel Wayne Bennett in Weatherford. Freda was the owner of Freda's Beauty Salon and Nature's Health Store for over 40 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Boyd. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; her daughter, Teresa Harrison; her sisters, Virginia Gilbert, Ina Joan Wilson and Diane Wheeler; and her brother Roy Wilson.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Tony Harrison of Springtown; her granddaughter, Kelli Clark and husband Tony of North Richland Hills, and Denise Moody Milam and husband Stephen of Springtown; her great grandchildren, Brittany Palmer Lamance and husband Todd Boone of San Antonio, Brandy Branson, Brandon Branson and Brenna Brooke Branson, all of Springtown, Mackenzie Clark, Cameron Clark, Addison Clark and Evan Clark, all of North Richard Hills; and her sister, Kathryn Darden of Fort Worth; numerous other family members and a host of friends.
