Frederick Lee Wenger

Paradise ~ Frederick Lee Wenger, 78, went to be with our Lord Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Decatur.

Graveside will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at Cottondale Cemetery in Paradise. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Barry Hogan will officiate.

Frederick was born June 7, 1942 to Frederick G. and Eula (O’Connor) Wenger in Meadow Bridge, West Virginia. He was a veteran and proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Frederick was united in marriage to Paulette Gibson on January 5, 1984 in Tarrant County, Texas. He was a retired Assembler for Bell Helicopter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Paulette Wenger.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Denise Wenger and boyfriend Rob Owen of Irving; his sister, Linda Garris of Crab Orchard, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews including, Karen Lacek and husband Jim Bob, Kyle Garris, and Andrea Martin and husband Gregg; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
