Gary Michael Cassity, 53, of Slidell went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 28, 2010.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, at the First Baptist Church of Slidell.
Gary was born August 30, 1956 in Oak Hill, Ohio to Jack and Peggy Cassity. Gary was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish.
Left behind to cherish his memory are 2 daughters, Dawn Schertz and husband David of Krum and Jennifer Burgess and husband Robbie of Krum; 1 son, Cody Cassity and wife Lindsay of Krum; 7 grandchildren; 1 sister, Kim Shifflett and husband Carl of Krum; 1 brother, Glen Cassity of Slidell; 2 nieces and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
